YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS.  Public funding alone does not cover the full cost of running a thriving Curricular Music Program.  All families (that are able) are asked to donate to support Monta Vista's Choirs, Orchestras, Bands, Wind Ensemble, e.g.:

• Fund professional coaching and sectional instructors.

• Fund instrument repair and purchase.

• Fund guest clinicians and masterclasses.

• Fund transportation to and from performances and festivals.

• Fund scholarships and financial assistance for students/families in need.

All contributions are eligible for Company Matching.  Company Match is very important, please enroll in your employer's Company Match Program to amplify your contribution.

The Boosters also raise funds through other means such as the "Vertical Raise" online campaign for the students' relatives and extended families.  We also have restaurant fundraisers, cash donations at concerts, graduation lei sales, and other fund-raising activities.

The Boosters organization also separately manages all Parent/Guardian contributions for Extra-Curricular Music Programs such as Color Guard, Marching Band,  Jazz Band and Winter Percussion.
